AERRL announces one-year renewal of its five directors

The Association of European Rail Rolling Stock Lessors is pleased to announce the one-year renewal of its five directors. This decision reflects the renewed confidence expressed by all members at the General Assembly. The decision was taken unanimously by the members of AERRL at their General Meeting in Madrid on 15 April 2024.
AERRL continues to expand by welcoming ELL as new member.

ELL joins the Association of European Rail Rolling Stock Lessors from September 2023. Founded in 2013 as European Locomotive Leasing, the European Locomotive Leasing Group (ELL) is a new European lessor based at offices in Vienna and Munich.
Since AERRL was founded by Akiem, MRCE and Railpool in May 21, Northrail, Beacon Rail Finance, Cargounit, ELP, Renfe Alquiler, Nexrail and ELL successively joined the association.
Rail transport: a roadmap for decarbonisation together

The first phase of the AERRL study on alternatives to fossil diesel use in railways is now at an end. The conclusions of the study show that the entire rail sector needs to design a common strategy to address the challenge of transitioning from fossil diesel.
