More than ten years after the adoption of the ‘Single European Railway Area’ and despite billions invested in interoperability, the deployment of ERTMS remains patchy.

As major investors in interoperability and cross-border traffic, we are calling on the European authorities and Member States to review their strategy and push for a roll-out that will support a commercially successful and competitive railway.

Let’s fix the deployment. Let’s end the patchwork. And let’s finally build the rail network Europe promised, with a single ETCS and FRMCS implemented as soon as possible.
