Trans-European transport Network (TEN-T)

AERRL transmits its view about TEN-T and draw attention on obsolescence management over asset life-time.

Regulation (EU) 1315/2013 on Union Guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T) governs the EU policy on transport infrastructure. This policy notably aims at facilitating transport flows across Member States and supporting territorial, economic and social cohesion. In line with the Action Plan included in the Commission’s Communication on the European Green Deal, and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy, a proposal for a revision of the TEN-T Regulation is planned in 2021. The objective of this consultation is to ensure that, in addition to the organisations directly involved in the TEN-T policy, other stakeholder groups and the general public are provided with the possibility to express their opinion about the topic.

On 5th of May 2021, AERRL contributed to the consultation launched by the EU Commission preparing a proposal for a revision of the TEN-T Regulation and draw attention on obsolescence management over asset life-time.
