In this joint statement of the Group of Representative Bodies (GRB), AERRL, ALLRAIL, CER, EIM, ERFA, FEDECRAIL, UIP and UNIFE express their support for the centralised registration function of the European Vehicle Register (EVR) and support the intention for the EU Agency for Railways (ERA) to become a registration entity.

However, the associations underline that applicants should remain free to choose a national registration entity if preferred.

AERRL is actively involved in the further discussion on the access to parameters – including conditions of access – which should be framed in the respective Annex of the EVR.
